Tresfix 15 Tab

Tresfix from Waterley contains cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial infections.

• Throat and tonsil infections
• Ear infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Certain chest infections
• Selected sexually transmitted infections

Cefixime stops bacteria from building their protective cell walls. Without a strong wall, the bacteria cannot survive, which helps clear the infection.

Swallow whole with water, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the full course even if you feel better.

• Diarrhoea
• Nausea or vomiting
• Stomach pain
• Headache
• Skin rash

Tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, kidney problems, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and any other medicines you are using. Stop and seek help if you develop severe rash, breathing difficulty, or persistent diarrhoea.

Store below 30 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
