About
4 Quin Lot Eye Drop from Entod blends the antibiotic moxifloxacin with the gentle steroid loteprednol. It is a prescription eye drop, mostly used after eye surgery or for eye inflammation where there is also a risk of bacterial infection.
Uses
- Controls swelling and redness after eye surgery
- Lowers infection risk during eye healing
- Helps with allergic and chronic eye inflammation alongside infection cover
How it works
Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that blocks bacterial DNA copying, stopping infection from spreading. Loteprednol is a steroid that calms the immune response in the eye but breaks down quickly in eye tissue, so it has a lower risk of raising eye pressure compared to older steroids.
How to take
Use exactly as prescribed by your eye doctor. Wash your hands, tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower lid and place one drop inside. Shake the bottle gently before each use if your doctor advises. Do not let the dropper tip touch any surface.
Side effects
- Mild stinging or burning briefly after a drop
- Blurred vision for a few moments
- Watering or mild irritation
- Long use can raise eye pressure in some people
Precautions
Avoid in viral, fungal or tuberculosis-related eye infections. Not for self-medication or long stretches of use without a doctor's review. Remove contact lenses before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use only with medical advice.
Storage
Keep below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Close the bottle tightly after every use and throw it away one month after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
