About
4 Quin KT Eye Drop from Entod combines the antibiotic moxifloxacin with the painkilling anti-inflammatory ketorolac. It is a prescription eye drop, often used around eye surgery or for painful, infected eye conditions.
Uses
- Eases eye pain and swelling after surgery
- Lowers risk of bacterial infection during healing
- Helps with itchy, gritty feeling after eye procedures
How it works
Moxifloxacin stops bacteria from copying their DNA so the infection cannot spread. Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that blocks the chemicals (prostaglandins) responsible for pain and swelling in the eye. The pair manages both infection risk and discomfort together.
How to take
Use exactly as prescribed by your eye doctor. Wash your hands, tilt your head back, gently pull the lower eyelid and place one drop inside. Press the inner corner of the eye for a minute to keep the drop in place. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface.
Side effects
- Brief stinging or burning after a drop
- Watery eyes
- Blurred vision for a few moments
- Rarely, eye irritation or allergic reactions
Precautions
Avoid if you are allergic to fluoroquinolones or NSAIDs like aspirin. Remove soft contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before putting them back. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use only with a doctor's advice. Inform your doctor of any other eye problems or medicines.
Storage
Keep below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Close the bottle tightly and throw it away one month after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
