4 Quin D from Entod is a prescription eye preparation that brings together two well-known medicines. Moxifloxacin acts as the antibiotic part, while dexamethasone is a steroid that calms inflammation in the eye.

Moxifloxacin blocks the enzymes bacteria need to copy their DNA, which stops the infection from growing. Dexamethasone is a strong steroid that quiets the body's inflammation signals, easing redness, swelling and discomfort in the eye.

Use exactly as prescribed by your eye doctor. Always wash your hands before use, tilt your head back, and place a drop inside the lower eyelid. Do not let the dropper tip touch your eye, fingers or any surface.

• Watery or itchy eyes
• Long use can raise eye pressure or speed up cataract formation

Avoid if you have a viral or fungal eye infection, since the steroid part can make these worse. Not for self-medication, and not for long-term use without check-ups. Remove contact lenses before use. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have glaucoma.

Keep below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Close the bottle tightly after each use and throw it away one month after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
