Advent Drops from Cipla are paediatric oral drops containing Amoxycillin with Clavulanic Acid. Doctors often prescribe them for infants and small babies who cannot swallow tablets or syrup.

Amoxycillin is a penicillin antibiotic that breaks the wall of harmful bacteria so they cannot survive. Clavulanic acid blocks the enzyme that some bacteria use to destroy the antibiotic, so Amoxycillin keeps working.

Give as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose and use the dropper that comes inside the pack. Finish the full course even if the baby feels better.

• Vomiting or fussiness

Tell the doctor if your child is allergic to penicillin, has had jaundice with antibiotics earlier, or has kidney problems. Do not mix the drops into a full bottle of milk.

Keep below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, use within 7 days and keep the cap tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
