Moxikind CV Drops from Mankind Pharma combine amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic, with clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that helps overcome bacterial resistance. The oral drop form is convenient for infants and small children.

Amoxicillin disrupts the building of bacterial cell walls so the bacteria break apart, while clavulanic acid blocks enzymes that some bacteria use to inactivate amoxicillin.

Use the dropper to give the dose as prescribed by your doctor. Best given with a feed to reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course even if your child seems better.

• Loose stools or mild diarrhoea
• Spitting up or nausea
• Diaper rash from thrush
• Skin rash (tell the doctor right away)

Avoid if the child has had a penicillin allergy. Mention any history of liver issues or jaundice with antibiotics. Keep the dropper clean.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place. Once opened, use within the period mentioned on the pack. Keep out of reach of children.
