Acivir 200 DT

Acivir 200 DT from Cipla is a dispersible tablet of acyclovir, an antiviral medicine that works against the herpes family of viruses. The 10-tablet strip is a common pack used for cold sore, genital herpes and chickenpox courses prescribed by a doctor.

Acyclovir copies the shape of a building block the herpes virus uses to make its DNA. Once inside an infected cell, it gets locked into the viral DNA chain, stopping the virus from multiplying and helping the body clear it faster.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. The dispersible tablet can be swallowed with water or dissolved in a little water before drinking.
