Cekod 200 DT

Cekod 200 DT from Leeford is a dispersible cefixime tablet, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that can be dissolved in water for easier swallowing.

• Throat, ear and sinus infections
• Bronchitis and other chest infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Typhoid fever and some gut infections

Cefixime stops bacteria from building a sturdy cell wall. Without it the germs lose shape and die, helping the infection clear.

Dissolve the tablet in a little water and drink immediately, or take whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Complete the full course.

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Loose stools or diarrhoea
• Mild rash
• Headache

Tell your doctor about any past allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins, kidney issues or ongoing gut problems. Report severe or watery diarrhoea straight away.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, and keep out of reach of children.
