Moximax Eye Drops 10 ml

Moximax Eye Drops from Alkem Laboratories contain moxifloxacin, a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. The sterile ophthalmic solution is designed to treat bacterial infections of the eye.

• Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye)
• Eye infections after minor injuries
• Before and after certain eye surgeries
• Lid margin infections (as advised)

Moxifloxacin blocks bacterial enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, which bacteria need to copy their genetic material, so the infection cannot multiply.

Wash hands first. Tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower lid and place drops as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid touching the tip to the eye or fingers.

• Watery eyes
• Mild eye redness
• Blurred vision for a few moments

Do not wear contact lenses during the infection unless allowed. Avoid sharing the bottle. Stop and consult the doctor if irritation worsens.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius, away from direct light. Discard the bottle four weeks after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
