Apdrops PD Eye Drop 5 ml

Apdrops Eye Drop contains moxifloxacin 0.5%, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for the eye. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the surface of the eye.

• Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye)
• Bacterial eye infections
• Prevention of infection after eye surgery

Moxifloxacin stops bacterial enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, which bacteria need to multiply. Without these, the bacteria cannot grow and the infection clears up.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands, tilt your head back and place a drop in the lower eyelid pouch without touching the dropper tip to the eye.

• Mild stinging or burning
• Watery eyes
• Blurred vision for a few minutes
• Itchy eyes
• Dry eye sensation

Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before putting them back. Do not share the bottle, and tell your doctor about any allergy to fluoroquinolones.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius, away from sunlight. Discard the bottle four weeks after opening, even if some drops remain.
