How it works
Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that stops bacteria from copying their DNA, so they cannot multiply and the infection clears.
How to take
Swallow with a glass of water as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid taking with milk or antacids; keep a 2-hour gap. Finish the full course even if you feel better.

Precautions
Drink plenty of water during treatment. Avoid strong sun exposure. Tell your doctor about tendon, kidney or nerve problems and any past antibiotic allergy.
