O2 from Medley is a combination antibiotic tablet that brings together ofloxacin and ornidazole. It is used to treat infections caused by both bacteria and certain parasites.

• Mixed gut infections with diarrhoea
• Amoebic and bacterial dysentery
• Some skin and soft tissue infections
• Dental and gum infections
• Pelvic infections in some cases

Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that stops bacteria from copying their DNA, while ornidazole damages the DNA of certain parasites and anaerobic bacteria. Together they cover a wider range of organisms.

Take one tablet with water, after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Finish the full course even if you feel better, and avoid alcohol during treatment and for some days after.

• Nausea and stomach upset
• Metallic taste in mouth
• Headache and dizziness
• Loose motions
• Skin rash in rare cases

Tell your doctor about pregnancy, breastfeeding, epilepsy, liver or kidney problems, or any allergy to antibiotics. Avoid driving if you feel dizzy. Do not take with milk products at the same time as the dose.

Keep below 25 degrees C in the original strip, away from moisture and sunlight. Store out of children's reach.
