About
N Flox B 400 Tablets from Labovate contain Norfloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used for certain bacterial infections, mainly of the urinary tract.
Uses
- Urinary tract infections
- Some gut infections
- Traveller's diarrhoea (when advised)
- Prostate infection in men
How it works
Norfloxacin stops the enzymes that bacteria use to copy their DNA. Without DNA copying, the bacteria cannot multiply and the infection clears.
How to take
Swallow whole with a full glass of water as prescribed by your doctor. Take on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after food and dairy. Finish the full course.
Side effects
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Loose motions
- Headache or dizziness
- Rash
Precautions
Not for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Tell the doctor about tendon problems, epilepsy, kidney issues or heart-rhythm conditions. Avoid antacids and dairy near the dose time.

Keep below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Store in the original strip and out of reach of children.
