About
Augmentin 625 Duo from GSK combines amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, with clavulanic acid, which helps it work against resistant bacteria. It is one of the most prescribed antibiotic combinations.

How it works
Amoxicillin damages bacterial cell walls, while clavulanic acid blocks an enzyme that some bacteria use to resist amoxicillin, helping clear stubborn infections.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with the start of a meal to reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course even if you feel better.

Precautions
