Gemmox CV 625 10 tab

Gemmox CV 625 from Cadila is an antibiotic tablet that pairs amoxicillin with clavulanic acid. The combination tackles a wider range of bacterial infections than amoxicillin alone.

Amoxicillin belongs to the penicillin family and stops bacteria from building their protective wall, which kills them off. Clavulanic acid blocks an enzyme that some bacteria use to resist amoxicillin, so the antibiotic stays effective.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, ideally at the start of a meal to reduce stomach upset. Finish the full course even if you feel better, otherwise the infection can return stronger.

• Nausea or vomiting
• Skin rash or itching
• Yeast infection (oral or vaginal thrush)

Tell your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin, or if you have liver or kidney issues. Inform them if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not share antibiotics with others.
