About

Moxikind CV Kid tablets from Mankind Pharma offer a child-friendly combination of amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. The lower strength is meant for older children who can take tablets.

  • Chest and lung infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Skin and dental infections

How it works

Amoxicillin breaks down the bacterial cell wall, while clavulanic acid prevents enzymes that some bacteria produce to deactivate the antibiotic, restoring its effectiveness.

How to take

Give as prescribed by your doctor, with or just after food to ease the stomach. Encourage plenty of fluids and complete the entire course.

  • Skin rash
  • Fungal infection in the mouth

Precautions

Avoid in children allergic to penicillins. Share any history of liver concerns or earlier reactions to antibiotics. Stop and consult the doctor if a rash appears.
