Cavmox-CV Duo 10 tab

Cavmox-CV Duo from Leeford combines amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, with clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. The pair helps tackle bacterial infections that are harder to clear with amoxicillin alone.

Amoxicillin damages the cell wall of bacteria, causing them to break apart. Clavulanic acid blocks an enzyme that some bacteria use to defend themselves, helping amoxicillin stay effective.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with a meal to reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course even if you feel better, to avoid the infection coming back.

Tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergy to penicillin or any antibiotic, or if you have liver or kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
