Flagyl Tablet from Abbott contains Metronidazole, a well-known antibacterial and antiprotozoal medicine. Doctors prescribe it for many years to treat infections caused by certain bacteria and parasites.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with a glass of water, preferably after food to reduce stomach upset. Finish the full course even if you feel better.

• Metallic taste in the mouth
• Nausea or loss of appetite
• Headache or dizziness
• Dark-coloured urine
• Mild stomach pain

Avoid alcohol during the course and for at least 48 hours after the last dose, as it can cause severe reactions. Tell the doctor if you have liver disease, blood disorders, or are pregnant.
