Aliclair 500 4 tab

Aliclair 500 from Leeford contains Clarithromycin 500 mg, a macrolide antibiotic. It is widely used for many bacterial infections of the chest, ear, throat and skin.

• Throat and tonsil infections
• Sinus and middle ear infections
• Chest infections like bronchitis and pneumonia
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• H. pylori stomach infection (with other medicines)

Clarithromycin stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to survive and multiply. With protein-making blocked, the bacteria can no longer grow and the body's defences clear the infection.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Usually swallowed whole with water, with or without food. Finish the full course even if you feel better.

Tell your doctor about heart rhythm problems, liver or kidney disease, low potassium, or any allergy to antibiotics like erythromycin or azithromycin.
