Metron 400 15 tab

Metron 400 from Alkem is a tablet form of metronidazole in the commonly used higher strength.

• Treats certain bacterial and parasitic infections
• Often prescribed for gut, dental, and gynaecological infections

Metronidazole enters microbes that don't rely on oxygen and damages their DNA. The germs can't multiply, so the body clears the infection more easily.

Swallow whole with water as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with or after food. Complete the full course as advised, even if you feel better early.

• Metallic taste, nausea, mild stomach upset
• Headache or darker urine in some people

Avoid alcohol during and for 48 hours after the course. Tell your doctor about liver issues, pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Store below 25C in a dry, cool place away from sunlight and out of children's reach.
