Product information
About
Cefrozone S 1.5 g Injection from Knoll Healthcare pairs ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, with sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, for moderate to serious bacterial infections.
Uses
- Serious chest and lung infections
- Complicated urinary tract infections
- Abdominal and pelvic infections
- Bloodstream and bone or joint infections
How it works
Ceftriaxone damages the bacterial cell wall so the germs break apart. Sulbactam blocks beta-lactamase enzymes that some bacteria use to destroy such antibiotics, helping ceftriaxone reach more types of germs.

A nurse or doctor gives this injection into a muscle or a vein, as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the full course advised.

Tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins, gallbladder problems or kidney disease. It is not given with calcium-containing IV fluids in newborns.
