Duphalac Syrup from Abbott is a large-pack Lactulose oral solution used for ongoing constipation and in certain liver conditions where regular daily use is needed.

Lactulose reaches the colon unchanged, where bacteria break it down into mild organic acids. This pulls water into the stool, softens it, and helps trap ammonia inside the bowel for clearance.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Can be taken neat or mixed with water, juice or milk. Drink plenty of fluids during the day.

Avoid in galactose intolerance and bowel obstruction. Use carefully in diabetes. See your doctor if you have rectal bleeding or relief does not come within a week.
