Duphalac Syrup 150 ml

Duphalac Syrup from Abbott is a well-known Lactulose-based oral laxative. It is used for adults, children, and the elderly for the relief of constipation and in some liver conditions.

• Support in liver disease where ammonia clearance is needed

Lactulose reaches the large intestine intact, where gut bacteria break it down into mild acids. This pulls water into the bowel and softens the stool, making it easier to pass.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. The syrup can be taken on its own or mixed with water, juice or milk. Drink enough water during the day.

Not suitable for those with galactose intolerance or bowel obstruction. Diabetics should ask the doctor before use. Inform the doctor if there is blood in the stool or constipation lasts more than a week.
