Aciloc RD 15 tab

Aciloc RD is a Cadila combination tablet that joins ranitidine, an acid-lowering medicine, with domperidone, which helps the stomach empty more smoothly. The strip carries 15 tablets and is generally prescribed for people troubled by acidity along with a bloated, queasy feeling.

• Acidity, heartburn and sour belching
• Reflux symptoms after meals
• Mild nausea linked to indigestion
• Bloating from slow stomach emptying

Ranitidine blocks the H2 signal that tells stomach cells to make acid, so the burning eases off. Domperidone gently nudges the upper gut to move food along, which cuts down on fullness and nausea.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken on an empty stomach before food.

• Headache or mild dizziness
• Dry mouth
• Loose motions or constipation
• Tiredness

Tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver or heart rhythm problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Long-term use of acid-lowering medicines can affect vitamin B12 levels, so stick to the planned course. Do not mix with other domperidone-containing products.

Keep the strip in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
