Aciloc 150

Aciloc 150 from Cadila contains ranitidine 150 mg, an H2 blocker used for many years in India to control stomach acid problems. It is prescribed for people troubled by acidity, heartburn and ulcers.

Ranitidine blocks H2 histamine receptors on stomach cells. These cells normally release acid when histamine signals them. By blocking the signal, ranitidine lowers the amount of acid in the stomach, which gives the gut lining time to heal.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water. It can be taken with or without food, often at bedtime or as your doctor advises.
