About

Sporidex 500 from Sun Pharma is a Cephalexin capsule, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used for common bacterial infections of the skin, throat, ears and urinary tract. The strip carries 10 capsules.

Uses

  • Skin and soft-tissue infections
  • Throat and tonsil infections
  • Ear infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Bone infections (as advised)

How it works

Cephalexin attacks the cell wall that holds bacteria together. With a damaged wall, the bacteria cannot survive and the infection clears.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallow whole with a glass of water. Can be taken with or without food. Finish the full course even if you feel better in a few days.

  • Headache
  • Yeast infection on long use

Precautions
