Rcinex E

Rcinex E from Lupin is a fixed-dose anti-tuberculosis combination of Rifampicin, Isoniazid, and Ethambutol. It is used in the continuation or intensive phase of TB treatment, as guided by national TB programmes.

Rifampicin and Isoniazid attack TB bacteria through different pathways inside the cell, while Ethambutol stops bacterial cell-wall building, together helping clear the infection more reliably.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Usually swallowed whole with water on an empty stomach, at least an hour before food.

• Orange-red colour in urine and other body fluids (harmless)
• Nausea, vomiting, or stomach upset
• Numbness or tingling in hands and feet
• Vision changes, such as blurring or trouble with colours
• Changes in liver function tests

Tell your doctor right away if you notice changes in vision or yellowing of skin or eyes. Mention any liver disease, alcohol use, diabetes, or kidney problems, and share your full medicine list, as interactions are common.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
