Faronem ER 300 mg Tablet (10 Tab)

Faronem ER from Sun Pharma contains Faropenem, an oral antibiotic from the penem group. It is prescribed for various bacterial infections that need a broad-spectrum antibiotic by mouth.

• Throat, ear and sinus infections
• Lung infections such as pneumonia and bronchitis
• Skin and soft-tissue infections
• Urine infections

Faropenem is a beta-lactam antibiotic that damages the cell wall of bacteria, causing them to break down and die. This clears the infection and helps relieve fever, pain and other symptoms.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with water, preferably after a meal to reduce stomach upset. Complete the full course even if you feel better, to prevent the infection from coming back.

• Mild stomach pain

Tell the doctor about any penicillin or beta-lactam allergy, kidney problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop and consult the doctor if rash, swelling or breathing problems occur.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
