Zaha Eye Oint 5 gm

Zaha Eye Ointment from Ajanta Pharma contains azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic, in an ointment base suited for the delicate tissues around the eye. It is used for bacterial infections of the eye and eyelid margin.

• Bacterial conjunctivitis
• Blepharitis and other lid-margin infections
• Selected eye infections sensitive to azithromycin

The ointment delivers azithromycin directly to the surface of the eye, where it blocks bacterial protein production and stops the bacteria from multiplying.

Apply a small ribbon inside the lower eyelid as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before and after use, and avoid touching the tube tip to your eye.

• Temporary blurred vision after application
• Mild burning or stinging
• Itching or redness

Do not wear contact lenses while you have an eye infection. Use the ointment only for the eye it was prescribed for, and avoid sharing the tube with others.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Discard the tube within four weeks of first opening, even if some product remains.
