Lizoforce from Mankind contains Linezolid, an antibiotic from the oxazolidinone class. It is used to treat certain serious bacterial infections, including those caused by resistant strains.

Linezolid works by blocking bacterial protein synthesis at an early step, which stops the bacteria from multiplying and helps the body clear the infection.

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the full course even if you feel better, and try to take doses at the same times each day.

• Changes in blood counts on longer courses
• Tingling or numbness with extended use

Tell your doctor about all medicines, especially antidepressants, as serious interactions are possible. Avoid foods very high in tyramine. Inform your doctor of any blood, eye, nerve or thyroid conditions, and if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store as directed on the pack, away from heat and sunlight. Once reconstituted, follow the pharmacist's storage and use-by instructions. Keep out of reach of children.
