About
Aquaear is a combination ear drop containing lidocaine, beclometasone, clotrimazole and chloramphenicol. Despite the name, it is intended for ear use to treat infection, inflammation and pain together.
Uses
- Bacterial and fungal ear infections
- Inflammation in the ear canal
- Pain from outer ear infection
- Itchy infected ear
How it works
Chloramphenicol kills bacteria, clotrimazole tackles fungi, beclometasone reduces inflammation and swelling, and lidocaine numbs the area for quick pain relief, all in one drop.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor. Tilt the head, place the drops in the ear canal, gently press the front of the ear and stay tilted for a couple of minutes.
Side effects
- Brief stinging or burning

- Temporary numbness in the ear
- Skin irritation around the ear
Precautions
Do not use if the eardrum is perforated unless your doctor advises. Avoid use in the eye and tell your doctor about allergies to any of the ingredients.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius, away from sunlight. Discard four weeks after opening and keep out of reach of children.
