How it works
Carboxymethylcellulose is a thick, water-loving polymer that coats the surface of the eye, holding moisture in place and forming a soothing film over irritated areas.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands first, tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower lid and place a drop in the pouch. Blink slowly so the drop spreads evenly.
Side effects
- Brief blurring of vision after instilling
- Mild stinging or watering
Precautions
Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surface. If you wear soft contact lenses, follow your doctor's advice on timing. See a doctor if pain, redness or vision changes appear.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Discard one month after first opening or as advised.
