Carboxymethylcellulose acts like an artificial tear. It coats the surface of the eye with a soothing layer, restoring moisture and helping the eye feel comfortable again. It does not contain any active drug — it simply rehydrates.

Tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower lid and place one drop in each eye as needed, usually 2-4 times a day. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface. You can use more often if your doctor advises.
