Forecox tab

Forecox from Macleods is a fixed-dose combination tablet used in the treatment of tuberculosis. It brings together four anti-TB medicines in one pill to make daily therapy simpler.

• Helps target TB bacteria from different angles
• Reduces the number of separate pills to take

Each medicine in the tablet attacks TB bacteria in a different way; some block the bacteria from making proteins or genetic material, while others damage the bacterial cell wall, helping clear the infection.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablets on an empty stomach with water, usually before a meal. Do not skip doses, and complete the full course your doctor sets.

• Nausea, vomiting, or stomach upset
• Orange-red colour in urine, sweat, or tears
• Joint pain or tingling in hands and feet
• Skin rash or itching

Tell your doctor about liver problems, eye issues, gout, diabetes, alcohol use, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Regular liver and eye check-ups may be needed during therapy.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
