Pyzina 750 from Lupin contains pyrazinamide, a first-line anti-tuberculosis medicine prescribed alongside other TB drugs to treat active infection.

Pyrazinamide is converted inside the body to its active form, which works best in the acidic environment of infected cells to kill TB bacteria.

Swallow with water at the same time each day, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip or stop doses without medical advice.

• Liver enzyme changes
• Skin rash or photosensitivity

Tell your doctor about any liver disease, gout, diabetes or porphyria. Regular liver function checks may be advised. Avoid alcohol during the course.
