Lizoforce 600

Lizoforce 600 from Mankind contains Linezolid, an oxazolidinone antibiotic. It is prescribed for certain serious bacterial infections, including those caused by resistant Gram-positive organisms.

Linezolid binds to the bacterial ribosome and blocks an early step in protein synthesis, stopping the bacteria from growing so the body can clear the infection.

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor and complete the full course even if you feel better. Swallow the tablet with water at the same times each day.

• Nausea, diarrhoea or headache
• Altered taste
• Changes in blood counts on longer treatment
• Numbness or tingling with extended use

Mention all medicines, especially antidepressants and migraine drugs, due to risk of serious interactions. Limit tyramine-rich foods. Inform your doctor of blood, eye, nerve or thyroid issues, and if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Store in the original strip and out of reach of children.
