Terbinaforce 500 from Mankind Pharma is a higher-strength oral tablet containing Terbinafine, an allylamine antifungal. It is used for stubborn or widespread fungal infections of the skin and nails.

• Extensive ringworm of body, groin or feet
• Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis)
• Recurrent fungal skin infections

Terbinafine targets the fungal enzyme squalene epoxidase, blocking a key step in cell membrane formation. The fungal cells weaken and die, allowing the infection to clear.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water and with or without food. Complete the full course. Long courses are common for nail infections.

• Stomach upset, nausea or loss of appetite
• Headache
• Skin rash
• Taste disturbance
• Liver enzyme changes (rare)

Share any liver, kidney, lupus or psoriasis history. Your doctor may recommend liver function tests. Tell your doctor about all other medicines and supplements. Discuss pregnancy or breastfeeding before starting.
