Gudcef 200 10 tab

Gudcef 200 from Mankind is an antibiotic tablet that contains Cefpodoxime. It belongs to the third-generation cephalosporin family and is used for a wide range of bacterial infections.

• Throat and tonsil infection
• Ear and sinus infection
• Chest and bronchial infection
• Urinary tract infection
• Skin and soft-tissue infection

Cefpodoxime stops bacteria from making the cell wall that holds them together. Without a strong wall, the bacteria break down and the infection clears. It works against many common bacteria that cause throat, ear, chest and urine infections.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food for better absorption. Complete the full course even if you start feeling better in a few days.

• Diarrhoea or loose stools
• Nausea or vomiting
• Stomach pain
• Mild rash

Tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins, kidney problems, or long-standing gut disease. Avoid self-medication and do not share the strip with others. Inform your doctor if severe diarrhoea develops during or after treatment.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the strip in the original pack and out of reach of children.
