About
Zifi CV 100 DT is a dispersible tablet from FDC that pairs cefixime with clavulanic acid. The combination helps tackle bacteria that have become resistant to cefixime alone.
Uses
- Treats stubborn bacterial infections of the throat, ear and chest
- Used for urinary tract infections
- Helps when single antibiotics are not enough
How it works
Cefixime stops bacteria from building their protective wall. Clavulanic acid blocks an enzyme some bacteria use to neutralise cefixime — so the antibiotic stays effective.
How to take
Dissolve in a small amount of water, stir, and drink immediately. Take as prescribed by your doctor and complete the full course.

- Mild nausea
- Occasional rash
Precautions
Share any history of allergy to penicillins or cephalosporins. Not useful against viral infections.
