Nocktum 250 10 tab

Nocktum 250 contains cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is prescribed to treat bacterial infections of the throat, ears, sinuses, skin, and urinary tract.

• Ear and sinus infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections

Cefuroxime stops bacteria from building strong cell walls. Without a proper wall, the bacteria break apart and die, clearing the infection.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with food to improve absorption. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Complete the full course even if you feel better, so the infection does not return.

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Loose stools
• Headache
• Skin rash (rare)

Tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or other antibiotics. Inform them of kidney problems, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Long courses may upset the balance of gut bacteria.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from heat and moisture.
