Cefakind CV 500 10 tabs

Cefakind CV 500 from Mankind combines cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, with clavulanic acid. This higher-strength tablet is typically used for moderate to more stubborn bacterial infections.

• Throat, sinus and ear infections
• Chest infections
• Skin and urinary tract infections

Cefuroxime stops bacteria from forming a healthy outer wall. Clavulanic acid blocks the enzyme that some bacteria use to defend themselves, so cefuroxime can still work against them.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with food. Complete the full course even if you feel better, to prevent the infection coming back.

Tell your doctor about any past allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, or any kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
