About

L Cin 500 from Lupin contains Levofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is widely prescribed by doctors for moderate to severe bacterial infections in adults.

How it works

Levofloxacin blocks two bacterial enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. Without these enzymes, bacteria cannot copy their DNA, so they stop multiplying and die off.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Avoid antacids, iron or calcium products for at least 2 hours before and after the dose. Complete the full course.

Precautions
