L Cin from Lupin contains Levofloxacin, an antibiotic from the fluoroquinolone group. It is used to treat a range of bacterial infections, from common to more serious ones.

• Urine and kidney infections
• Sinus and throat infections
• Chest and lung infections including pneumonia
• Skin and soft-tissue infections
• Certain stomach infections

Levofloxacin blocks enzymes called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV inside bacteria. Without these enzymes, the bacteria cannot copy their DNA, so they stop multiplying and are cleared by the body.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Finish the full course even if you feel better. Avoid taking it together with milk, antacids or iron and calcium supplements, as they can reduce absorption.

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Loose motions
• Headache or dizziness
• Trouble sleeping
• Tendon pain (tell the doctor right away)

Tell the doctor if you have epilepsy, kidney problems, diabetes, heart rhythm issues, or a history of tendon problems. Avoid strong sunlight as the skin may become more sensitive. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly advised.

Keep below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip until use. Keep out of reach of children.
