Glimiac MV1 10 tab

Glimiac MV1 from Wallace Pharmaceuticals is a triple-action diabetes tablet with Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose. It is prescribed for adults with type 2 diabetes who need help controlling sugar surges after meals.

Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin. Metformin reduces sugar made by the liver and improves the body's response to insulin. Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in the gut so sugar enters the blood slowly after meals.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with the first bite of the main meal so Voglibose can act on the food eaten. Do not skip meals.

Avoid in severe kidney or liver disease and in inflammatory bowel disease. Treat low sugar with glucose (not ordinary sugar) because Voglibose slows sucrose breakdown. Avoid alcohol and check sugar regularly at home.
