A small blood drop applied to the Accu-Chek Instant test strip reacts with an enzyme that produces a tiny electrical signal. The meter converts this signal into your sugar reading and shows it on the screen with a colour-coded range indicator.

Insert a strip, prick a clean fingertip and touch the blood drop to the strip's edge. Wait for the beep and read the value on screen. You can also pair the device with the app for a digital sugar diary.
