Basalog from Biocon Biologics is a long-acting insulin glargine vial. It is a basal insulin used to keep blood sugar steady through the day and night in people with diabetes.

Insulin glargine slowly releases insulin into the body after injection, mimicking the steady, low-level insulin a healthy pancreas normally produces.

Inject under the skin once a day as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time each day. Rotate the injection sites to avoid lumps.

Store unopened vials in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees C. Do not freeze. In-use vials can be kept at room temperature for a limited time as advised.
