About
Zoryl MV 1 is an Intas tablet for type 2 diabetes that blends three oral antidiabetic medicines: glimepiride (a sulfonylurea), metformin (a biguanide), and voglibose (an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor). It is used when post-meal sugar spikes are a concern alongside overall control.
Uses
- Type 2 diabetes when single drugs are not enough
- Smoothing out post-meal sugar rises
- Combined attack on insulin release, sensitivity, and carb absorption
How it works
Glimepiride prompts the pancreas to release more insulin, metformin reduces liver sugar output and improves muscle uptake, and voglibose slows the breakdown of complex carbs in the gut so glucose enters the blood more gently after meals. Together they flatten sugar swings.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, ideally with the first bite of a meal so voglibose can act on incoming carbs. Do not skip meals after a dose.
Side effects
- Low blood sugar, particularly when meals are delayed
- Gas, bloating, or loose stools
- Mild stomach discomfort
- Possible vitamin B12 drop on long use
Precautions
Tell your doctor about kidney, liver, or bowel issues before starting. Carry glucose (not table sugar, which voglibose can slow) to treat low-sugar episodes quickly.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
