About
Glimisave MV 1 from Eris Lifesciences is a triple-action diabetes tablet containing Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose. It is prescribed for adults with type 2 diabetes who need better control of after-meal sugar spikes.
Uses

How it works
Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin. Metformin lowers liver-made sugar and helps the body use insulin. Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, slows breakdown of carbohydrates in the gut so sugar rises gradually after meals.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with the very first bite of the main meal so Voglibose can act on the food. Do not skip meals.
Side effects
- Low blood sugar
- Gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort
- Soft stools or diarrhoea
- Metallic taste
- Weight changes
Precautions
Not suitable in severe kidney, liver or bowel disease. Treat low sugar with glucose (not table sugar) since Voglibose slows sucrose breakdown. Avoid alcohol and have regular sugar checks.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in original strip and out of children's reach.
