About
Diapride M1 LV from Micro Labs combines Glimepiride, Metformin and a lower dose of Voglibose in one tablet. It is used in type 2 diabetes to support both overall and after-meal blood sugar control.
Uses
- Helps manage type 2 diabetes
- Smoothens post-meal sugar rises
How it works
Glimepiride helps the pancreas release insulin. Metformin cuts down on liver sugar output and improves insulin response. Voglibose slows down the digestion of carbs in the intestine so glucose is absorbed more gradually.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, ideally with the first bite of a main meal. Do not skip meals after the dose.
Side effects
- Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
- Gas, bloating or loose motions
- Mild nausea or stomach upset
Precautions
Tell your doctor about kidney, liver or chronic bowel issues. For low-sugar episodes, follow your doctor's advice on what sugar source to use. Limit alcohol.
