Zorbax 500 from Ajanta Pharma contains Azithromycin, a widely used antibiotic from the macrolide group. It is prescribed for a range of bacterial infections and is known for its short, convenient course.

• Respiratory tract infections
• Throat and sinus infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Certain ear infections
• Some sexually transmitted infections

Azithromycin stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow and multiply. This weakens the infection and lets the body's defences clear it out.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed with water. Finish the full course even if you feel better. Can be taken with or without food.

Tell your doctor about liver problems, heart rhythm issues, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or any allergies to antibiotics. Avoid antacids near the dose time. Report severe diarrhoea or rash promptly.
